Utah Gov. Cox signs inland port ‘infrastructure banks’ bill despite calls for veto

Gov. Spencer Cox signed 56 more bills Monday, including several related to investments in rural Utah.

Among the bills Cox signed at his rural office in Cedar City was SB243, creating a $75 million “infrastructure bank,” a new funding mechanism for low-interest loans for Utah Inland Port Authority projects.
