Ariane Gibson Promoted to Deputy Director at Utah Inland Port Authority

The Utah Inland Port Authority (UIPA) is pleased to announce the promotion of Ariane Gibson, CPA, to the role of Deputy Director. In addition to her ongoing responsibilities as Chief Financial Officer, Ariane will now play a key leadership role in advancing UIPA’s strategic initiatives, operations, and partnerships.

Ariane brings a wealth of expertise to her expanded role, with a proven track record of excellence in financial strategy, regulatory compliance, and organizational leadership. As Chief Financial Officer, she has been instrumental in driving UIPA’s financial sustainability while overseeing critical functions, including information technology, procurement, human resources, and asset management.

Before joining UIPA, Ariane served as Vice President of Financial Services at Utah Housing Corporation, where she led financial operations supporting affordable housing initiatives statewide. She also honed her expertise as an Audit Manager at the Office of the Utah State Auditor, managing complex public sector financial audits.

A licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Ariane holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Accounting from the University of Utah’s David Eccles School of Business. Her commitment to excellence extends beyond her professional roles, as she actively contributes to the accounting community through her service on the Board of the Utah Association of Certified Public Accountants.
