UIPA convened more than 170 attendees at its annual Congress of Ports, bringing together industry leaders, public officials, and community partners for a day of discussion focused on infrastructure, logistics, and economic development across Utah.
The program featured a series of discussions and breakout sessions covering key topics such as site readiness, infrastructure financing tools, utility coordination, environmental considerations, and project area development. Participants also heard updates on UIPA project areas and engaged in conversations centered on strengthening Utah’s position as a regional and national logistics hub.
“This event is designed to be a resource for our partners and stakeholders,” said Ben Hart, Executive Director of UIPA. “We appreciate the feedback we’ve received from attendees and see this as an opportunity to highlight the strong work happening across our project areas and the communities driving that progress.”
UIPA extends its appreciation to event sponsors, Zions Bank and D.A. Davidson, whose support helped enhance the overall experience for attendees.
Following strong participation and engagement, UIPA is exploring options for next year’s Congress of Ports, including a larger venue to accommodate growing interest while maintaining the same timeframe in March. Additional details for the 2027 event will be shared in the coming months.
