Utah Inland Port Authority Welcomes Ariane Gibson as New Chief Financial Officer

The Utah Inland Port Authority (UIPA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Ariane Gibson, CPA, as Chief Financial Officer. With a proven record in financial management and public sector expertise, Ariane will oversee UIPA’s financial strategy and operations, in addition to leading departments such as information technology, procurement, human resources, and asset management.

Ariane joins UIPA from the Utah Housing Corporation, where she served as Vice President of Financial Services. In this role, she led financial operations that supported affordable housing projects statewide, advancing the organization’s mission to provide accessible housing for Utah residents. Previously, she was an Audit Manager at the Office of the Utah State Auditor, bringing extensive experience in public sector audits and regulatory compliance.

A licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Ariane holds both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Accounting from the University of Utah’s David Eccles School of Business. She is an active advocate for the accounting profession, dedicating her time as a Board Member of the Utah Association of Certified Public Accountants.
