Utah Inland Port Authority Welcomes Lindsay Pedersen as Project Area Development Specialist

The Utah Inland Port Authority (UIPA) is pleased to welcome Lindsay Pedersen as a Project Area Development Specialist. With an extensive background in administration and operations, Lindsay brings a wealth of experience and a passion for fostering the growth and future of the state of Utah.

A proud Utah native and long-time resident of Davis County, Lindsay has always valued learning and community. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Communication/Journalism from BYU before embarking on a remarkable career journey. Lindsay spent over a decade at the University of Utah School of Medicine, where she managed the practice of the Chief of Craniofacial and Pediatric Plastic Surgery, coordinating care for hundreds of young patients and their families.

Driven by her desire to explore new opportunities, Lindsay spent nearly a decade in New York City as an executive administrator to a high-profile global leader. During this time, she collaborated with government officials and private entities, traveled to diverse international locations, and managed large-scale projects. Eventually, the majestic mountains of Utah called her back home.

Lindsay’s organizational skills, problem-solving abilities, and global perspective are a welcome addition to UIPA’s team as the organization works to enhance infrastructure, bolster economic growth, and advance logistics innovation statewide.

Lynne Mayer, Associate Vice President of Statewide Project Area Development, shared her excitement about Lindsay’s arrival:

“Lindsay’s unique combination of administrative skills, talents, and global experience makes her a tremendous asset to our team. Her dedication to excellence and passion for Utah’s future align perfectly with UIPA’s mission to support economic growth and community development across the state.”

Please join us in welcoming Lindsay Pedersen to the UIPA team!
