Alicia Eggleston serves as the Community Engagement Manager for the Utah Inland Port Authority, supporting the grant-funded Clean Ports Program. In this role, she ensures that local residents—particularly those living near the Salt Lake City Intermodal Terminal—are actively informed and empowered to guide Clean Ports initiatives. She facilitates the program's steering committee and collaborates with stakeholders to advance community-centered environmental goals.

Alicia holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in Sociology from the University of California, Merced. Born and raised in Los Angeles, she remained in Merced after graduation to serve local communities through environmental policy. Before relocating to Utah, she worked as a Policy Advocate focusing on water and climate resilience. Her career has been defined by a passion for empowering under-resourced and marginalized communities; she previously led efforts on flood resilience, expanded green spaces, and addressed air pollution concerns related to industrial expansion.

Since relocating to Utah, Alicia has remained dedicated to building relationships with individuals and organizations committed to community sustainability. Outside of her professional work in environmental justice, she enjoys hiking, reading, climbing, and camping. She is an avid traveler with a personal goal of visiting all 63 U.S. National Parks—a journey she is currently halfway through.
