The Utah Inland Port Authority is pleased to welcome Zane Zhu as its new financial analyst. In this role, Zhu supports financial modeling, forecasting, budget analysis and data-driven decision-making for UIPA’s infrastructure and economic development initiatives.

Zhu brings experience in financial planning, investment analysis, risk management and process automation. Before joining UIPA, he developed automated reporting tools at Old Mill Building Products and held financial roles with Deseret Mutual Benefit Administrators and Goldman Sachs.

“Zane brings strong technical expertise and a thoughtful, analytical approach to our finance team,” said Amy Chanthalyxay, UIPA’s finance director. “His ability to turn complex financial and project data into clear, actionable insights will strengthen our planning and support informed decision-making as UIPA’s work continues to grow statewide.”

Zhu holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Information Systems from the University of Utah and a Master of Science in Computational Finance and Risk Management from the University of Washington.
