Taneesa Wright joined the Utah Inland Port Authority (UIPA) team in 2019 and currently serves as the Operations Manager. She is responsible for effectively and successfully managing UIPA processes and procedures, specifically related to contracts, grants and sponsorships. Wright is excited to be a part of an agency and industry that constantly strives to promote sustainable and smart logistics investment through partnerships, policies and programs.
Wright spent five years working in the Governor’s Office of Economic Development, ultimately working as the Contracts Manager for two years before transitioning to the UIPA. Additionally, Wright has completed her Certified Public Manager (CPM) training through the state of Utah.
A native of Walled Lake, Michigan, Wright graduated from Utah State University with a bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies. Outside of her day job, she can be found hiking with her pup, singing on stage or spending time at her favorite cycling studio, Torrent Cycle.
