The partnership aims to align incentives, promote targeted business growth, and foster responsible economic development strategies, all with the goal of ensuring that every Utahn has access to their chosen economic pursuits and improved quality of life. • other individual organizations.

“EDCUtah’s mission is to catalyze capital investment and strategic economic opportunities that create quality jobs in Utah,” said Scott Cuthbertson, president and CEO of EDCUtah. “This partnership bolsters our ability to attract businesses to UIPA project areas and strengthens Utah’s economy.”

Scope of Services include:

  • UIPA will fund one full-time employee at EDCUtah to facilitate coordination among GOEO, EDCUtah, and UIPA, ensuring effective delivery of the partnership’s objectives.
  • EDCUtah will provide essential services, including business development functions, community strategy functions, and additional promotional services, to support UIPA’s mission and goals.

“UIPA is dedicated to fortifying Utah’s position as a global leader in logistics and logistics technology while responsibly managing our state’s resources,” said Ben Hart, executive director of UIPA. “This partnership reinforces our commitment to regional economic growth and alignment with local communities.”
