Developed to assist the Utah Inland Port Authority (UIPA) in the implementation, assessment, and maintenance of good internal controls over agency operations, financial reporting, and compliance.

This policy exists to protect both transparency and appropriate privacy in UIPA records and ensures access to records by providing guidelines for record management, preservation, and disposal.

This policy and the procedures adopted by the organization and in other personnel statements or materials issued by UIPA reflect current policies and procedures.

This policy supports the Utah Inland Port Authority (UIPA) in developing the underlying principle of segregation of duties being a shared responsibility of dispersing critical functions among multiple individuals throughout the organization.

Policies and guidelines set forth by the UIPA will prioritize infrastructure that furthers UIPA’s mission, vision, and strategic business plan. Additionally, AIB will fund projects that align with the Port Authority’s core mission of maximizing long-term growth for the state and regional economies.
