SALT LAKE CITY, UT — Bill Wyatt, executive director with Salt Lake City Department of Airports, will be sworn in as the newest board member of the Utah Inland Port Authority during a board meeting on October 4, 2023.
Wyatt will serve as an ex officio board member bringing experience in both port development and air infrastructure.

With Bill's expertise, we're excited about the transformative possibilities ahead and the valuable contributions he'll bring to our team."
Wyatt spent 16 years as the executive director of the Port of Portland where he oversaw four marine terminals, two general aviation airports and Portland International Airport (PDX).
Previously, he served as Chief of Staff to former Oregon Governor John A. Kitzhaber for seven years, preceded by six years as President of the Oregon Business Council, and five years as executive director of the Association for Portland Progress, then Portland's downtown development association.
“Salt Lake City International Airport serves as a critical transportation infrastructure for the city and state,” Wyatt said. “I look forward to serving on the UIPA Board as an ex-officio member to further enhance the airport’s position as a global aviation hub.”
