BEAVER CITY — The Beaver County Economic Development Office announced Unitech Manufacturing, a division of Midgley-Huber, will expand their business operations in the South Peaks Industrial Park in Beaver, Utah, along the I-15 corridor.
This expansion will bring 50 new jobs to the area in the next six months and the company will kick off initial hiring endeavors in mid-January.
“It feels good to go in and help a community,” said Chris Oberle, president and CEO of Midgley-Huber. “But this is a good thing for us, too. It’s a win-win and a perfect fit that we’re excited about. It opens short and long-term options for us, and we truly believe in the growth of this community.”
Unitech is one of the largest suppliers of HVAC equipment and air handling systems in the Intermountain West. Their products cross a large segment of private, public and non-profit entities.
Unitech manufacturing will be the first company to locate in the Beaver City Zone of the Utah Inland Port Authority’s Mineral Mountains Inland Port Project Area, marking an important milestone for the community.

The build out of this project will enable expansion and growth for Beaver County through the utilization of collected increment and it’s reinvestment in county infrastructure.
Unitech Manufacturing will build a 50,000 square foot building, which is anticipated to be in full operation by June 2024.
