Diana Gardner
Front Desk Receptionist
Diana Gardner joined the UIPA team in July 2021 as one of two front desk receptionists. She is responsible for office supply purchasing, agency fleet management, staff travel arrangements, answering phones and emails for general agency questions, checking in guests, and maintaining and scheduling conference rooms. Gardner is thrilled to be a part of an agency with forward-thinking logistics and sustainability at its core as well as working with an amazing team of dedicated professionals at UIPA.
Gardner spent four years working in the Governor’s Office of Economic Development as a front desk receptionist. She spent the previous 32 years as a high school AP history teacher in Salt Lake County’s Granite School District. After retirement from this noble profession, Gardner went on to adjunct work in the School of Education at Westminster College. She continues in this role today.
A native of Salt Lake City, Gardner graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Utah State University in dance education and political science. (Go Aggies!). She loves to travel (especially to Europe) and spend as much time with her two daughters and five grandchildren as possible.
