Kaitlin brings a broad range of communications experience to her role at UIPA. Most recently, she worked as the communications director with the Utah Department of Corrections demonstrating her strong commitment to effective communication within the challenging context of corrections. 

Prior to Corrections, Kaitlin spent five years working within the Utah Governor's Office of Economic Development primarily supporting science, technology, engineering and math initiatives to equip Utah's emerging workforce with the skills needed for prosperous, high-paying careers

Kaitlin brings that commitment to her new position with UIPA in working to ensure transparent communication and to foster meaningful relationships with all relevant stakeholders. 

With a masters in mass communications, and a background in crisis communication, marketing and organizational communication, Kaitlin is excited to be a part of UIPA's mission to enhance the lives of Utahns. 

Outside of work, Kaitlin keeps busy with three young boys  who have a passion for adventure and invention.
