Dain Maher serves as a full-time Operations & Logistics Manager for the Utah Inland Port Authority. No stranger to UIPA, Maher worked as a GIS consultant for two years before his hire. He will continue to support UIPA's robust database of geographic information as well as serve as a portfolio manager for the growing number of strategic projects the port is undertaking.

Dain received his bachelor's degree in geographic information systems from Brigham Young University and has over five years of experience managing geospatial systems for both governmental and private sector organizations.

He has supported projects for the Military Installation Development Authority (MIDA), P3+, Savage Transportation, Valor Victoria, Blu Line Designs, Blanding City, and Santaquin City. Outside of work, Dain enjoys spending time with his wife Rebekah and small cat Squiz. He loves skiing Alta Ski Area’s deep powder during the winter and cycling Utah’s open roads during the summer. He has a passion for railroading and old atlases.
