Help Shape the Future of the Northwest Quadrant
OPEN HOUSES
The Utah Inland Port Authority (UIPA) has concluded the Northwest Quadrant Baseline Study, an initiative that engaged residents, businesses, and stakeholders in shaping the future of one of Utah’s most significant economic and environmental areas.
Conducted with support from WSP, a global leader in infrastructure and planning, the study gathered insights on how the Northwest Quadrant can grow responsibly—strengthening logistics infrastructure, protecting environmental assets, and aligning with community priorities.
As WSP finalizes its analysis, UIPA will host two public community meetings where the study’s findings and potential scenarios will be reviewed. These events are designed to allow community members to directly weigh in on the next steps.
Upcoming Events:
Wednesday, November 5 | 4–6 PM
Northwest Community Center, SLC
Saturday, November 8 | 1–4 PM
Salt Lake City Library – Day-Riverside Branch, SLC
“The Northwest Quadrant is central to Utah’s economy and our long-term planning,” said Ben Hart, executive director with UIPA. “Hearing directly from the community ensures that growth is balanced, sustainable, and reflective of local values.”
