Project Area Development Specialist
Lindsay Pedersen is a Project Area Development Specialist at the Utah Inland Port Authority with an extensive background in administration and operations. A proud Utah native and long-time resident of Davis County, Lindsay is privileged to be a part of the Inland Port and play a role in fostering the growth and future of the state of Utah.
Raised to have a passion for learning, Lindsay earned a Bachelor's Degree in Communication/Journalism from BYU. She then spent over a decade at the University of Utah School of Medicine where she managed the practice of the Chief of Craniofacial and Pediatric Plastic Surgery at the Division of Plastic Surgery. Her exceptional organizational skills and problem-solving abilities helped to coordinate the care of hundreds of young patients and their families.
Having a desire to explore more of the world, Lindsay tried her luck in New York City and was fortunate to become an executive administrator to a high-profile global leader and owner of a Family Office in midtown Manhattan. She had the opportunity to collaborate with various government officials and private entities, travel to diverse international locations, and manage multiple large-scale projects for almost a decade before returning to the majestic mountains of Utah.
When she’s not working, Lindsay is usually immersed in any number of creative endeavors or DIY projects. She has two cats rescued from the streets of Brooklyn who never fail to make her life interesting. Lindsay also loves to indulge her passion for travel, especially by exploring America’s National Parks and historical sites.
